Just a short post to show that even just the simple things can make such an impact in a home! Re-painting a piece just a solid can give you a great look!

Seems you really do get better with practice! This was the first time I tried something other “pattern”…and I will say I’m pretty proud of myself! Take a look and let me know what you think! Please be honest!
Here again, the pictures are horrible! Sorry!

Well I found out that I do indeed have to have yet ANOTHER surgery…this one HOPEFULLY won’t be as bad as the last two, and I sure hope recovery time is quicker! While I’m recovering…MAYBE…JUST MAYBE I can be painting a few of these!
I know the picture is horrible(still no new camera!!)
I painted these for a friends daughter not expecting to do more…BUT…mom loved them, I LOVED them, so doing a pair for each of us was a given! THEN last night I get a call from my friend…and she has orders already, two pairs for twin girls, and more just keep coming in!
Boy God is good!! He is looking out for me, knowing that I won’t be able to lift, twist and turn furniture for awhile…He gave me something else to do!

Here are a few new pieces I’ve been working on!
Cute side table, the clock gave me the idea for this table top!
And this old French drop leaf table! I got the idea for the top when I saw a mixed media painting at a local scrapbooking store, and I must say I LOVE how this one turned out!
Enjoy! Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Harlequin for girls dressers.
Chi Omega house in Norman, Oklahoma.
My favorite, large harlequin dining table with canvas covered chairs, hand painted numbers on each seat.
Teen girls room, one wall painted with colorful harlequin.
Harlequin and monogrammed wall.
A lot of color.
I even have a harlequin wall in my own home.
What do you like about harlequin?
Use a large harlequin pattern on a small wall, it will make the room appear larger.
